Principal Message

I am excited to begin my journey as principal with you this year and to join the wonderful community at John Muir Elementary. As an English learner myself, I know firsthand how being bilingual opens doors to countless opportunities, both professionally and personally, and I deeply value the role language plays in connecting people and cultures.

Here at John Muir, we are proud to house CLIP, the Cupertino Language Immersion Program. For over 25 years, CLIP’s unique Mandarin language program has nurtured bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural learners who lead with curiosity, cultural appreciation, and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on our school, our community, and the world.

I look forward to meeting all of you in the weeks ahead as we work together to create a bright future for our students and continue building a vibrant, supportive community.
